Living the Sacred Heart
The Holy Eucharist is the center of the Christian Life, it is the source and summit of our Christian Faith. Throughout the history of the Church whenever there has been a Eucharistic miracle the matter of the Eucharist has always been scientifically found to be muscle tissue from the Heart. The Holy Eucharist is the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, therefore in Adoring the Blessed Sacrament, the Holy Eucharist, we are then Adoring the Heart of Jesus the Christ.
Often times when an individual or family has participated in the Enthronement of the Sacred Heart an awakening occurs within them to continue on the path of drawing ever more close to Our Lord. One of the best ways is to spend time in Adoration of the Holy Eucharist.
The practice of Adoration of the Holy Eucharist is offered in parishes through our Diocese. Several parishes have Perpetual Adoration Chapels where Our Lord is adored throughout the day, and every day, by members of the faithful. Other parishes offer Adoration once a week or once a month, usually on First Fridays. We invite you to prayerfully consider spending time with Our Eucharistic Lord in one of the Chapels or in your closest Church. Please visit the webpage titled “Adoration Schedule.”
